Knock on Wood

November 27th, 2007

I don’t want to jinx anything but Bridget seems to be a bit better. After sleeping most of the day, her fever is down to about 100 and she isn’t constantly whining and crying, which makes me feel much better. In fact, she’s been awake for about two hours now and had a few decent snacks.

Keep your fingers crossed we don’t have a backslide into feverville. I don’t handle this well.

No backsliding allowed. I don’t care how fun it would be on the hardwood floors.

Do you remember that Toadies song, “Backslider”?

Anyhow - my fingers are crossed that your girl keeps moving down the road to recovery :o)

Sick babies are never fun. Poor Bridget. I hope she’s better soon.

Poor little baby (AND the baby mama!)… okay, so “baby” may no longer be the right terminology. In any case, send my “feel better soon” message to Bridget!
