Skipping the Traditional Recap

December 30th, 2007

I would love to give you the traditional recap of the year as we are nearing the end of 2007. But looking back on my posts, I decided that if you wanted to bore yourself to sleep you could just go watch PBS or something. My year looked like this:

cried
baby cried
I got pooped on
snot
I’m tired
more baby stuff
even more baby stuff
exponentially more baby stuff

So I’m sparing you that pain.

I hope you all have a wonderful year, full of health, happiness, laughter and love.

I love your synopsis of your year as its so like mine, except there was work inbetween every baby and poop moment.

And your previous post had me giggling as we just figured out the cost of going to the movies now that we have the baby. Yikes.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my year too.

I imagine 2008 will be filled with lots of baby stuff too. You’re a great MOM. Hopefully, we’ll fit another girls’ weekend in during ‘08 as well. xoxo

I can’t find an email address to write you directly, but as far as the makeup goes, I got mine at Sephora and they have people there that help you pick out the right shade. I think it makes a world of difference. I immediately went to pick up the “light/fair” because I assumed that’s what I always am with the blond hair and rosy cheeks. But the girl told me that I was a medium/medium beige and even though I looked at her like she had three heads, once she put it on me, she was right. I guess some of those people do know what they are talking about. And picking the wrong shade of foundation can definitely make anyone look like a transvestite or Marilyn Manson…not that there’s anything wrong with either of those, but you get my drift.. ;)
