There's a guy at work who LOVES them. So much so he goes to PT Cruiser meet ups and displays his car to the other PTC owners. He even proudly showed me a photo album full of pics of his PTC. He even had a little Hot Wheels model of the PT Cruiser sitting atop his computer monitor at work. But, as for the Scion, I like the original models, the boxy ones. I really hate the Porsche Cayenne, too. It is so freaking ugly. Basically I have a problem with multi-purpose cars - are you a station wagon? an SUV? You can't be all, just make up your mind.
