I will send good "stay put" thoughts to your stitches (dangerously near your nether regions) for a speedy recovery! Would gauze and that paper tape be an option to avoid the bandaid reaction? Hmm, probably not given the location.

While that sucks (ewwww), I'm glad you were still there with your doctor. It also happened in a way so he could see that you weren't doing anything out of the usual for it to have happened, which is probably why he feels a bit to blame.

Please do take it easy. Nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for making it through the week.

Yet another thing - I also tend to have reactions to bandaids in certain areas. They make me red and swollen and it isn't pretty.

I found your blog on another blog. I hope you don't mind me coming over to have a peek. I am a moley person too. I had one removed from my neck and another from my cheek, the next week, a new one popped up on my forehead. I swear I just can't get rid of the suckers, they just keep coming back. Be careful with those stitches.

Oh, dear gawd. That sounds simply awful. I sure would have been tempted to have a liquid lunch following that appointment. Too bad Bridget isn't old enough to be your designated driver just yet.
