I would go with junk, it is slang, older people might not totally understand what she is saying if she decides to start discussing body parts in public and it will make you giggle. OMG! I would have been on the floor laughing!! My mom used all kinds of odd words for privates and I vowed when I had kids I would just call it by the "correct" words...which I have since they were very, very little...now, they are just familiar with the words and doesn't feel taboo at all...which was my goal. Of course, the first time you hear a little child say penis or "giiina" as my daughter says, it does raise a few eyebrows in mixed company! LOL. I think “daddy’s junk” is HYSTERICAL! OMG!
